Bonsoir tout le monde,

je vous retrouve avec une infusion de Rooibos parfumé à l'orange qui sent bon l'automne et les boissons réconfortantes. Personnellement, je n'apprécie pas trop le rooibos, je n'accroche tout simplement pas. Celui-ci m'a été offert par une amie chère qui l'a ramené (ainsi qu'un thé noir et un thé vert) de sa visite à New-York. Je le goûte pour la première fois (alors que je l'ai depuis un an, hmm).

Comme c'est une infusion, je me suis permise de laisser l'eau monter un peu plus en température ( j'ai arrêté la bouilloire avant que son arrêt automatique ne fonctionne mais l'eau bouillait déjà).

Au nez, ce rooibos à l'orange dégage une odeur miellée et d'orange douce en plus d'une odeur que j'associe au tilleul.

Au goût, j'ai eu une note métallique suivie d'un goût sucré et du goût caractéristique du zeste d'orange douce. Aucune amertume, aucune astringence. Ce à quoi je m'attendais puisque le rooibos ne diffuse pas de tanins. Je maintiens que je ne suis pas une adepte du rooibos, celui-ci ne m'a pas convertie. Je suis cependant sûre qu'il plairait à beaucoup de personnes n'appréciant pas le thé et qui lui adjoindraient une cuillerée de miel. Je devrais sans doute tenter le coup avec un peu de miel, cela renforcerai peut-être certains goûts. Ça reste un rooibos très doux et qui aurait sa place auprès d'un gâteau hivernal (au noix par exemple).

Hello everybody,I'm here to say to you what I think about an Orange flavored Rooibos. I received it from a friend of mine who brought it from New-York City. She gave it to me with a black tea and a green tea. I have to confess that I'm not a fan of rooibos but I want to test it, like any other infusion, maybe this one will change my mind.The scent was a sweet honeyed smell with a lot of orange and a touch of what I recognize as linden. For me, it smelled like a hot beverage I could be drinking during automn with my cold hands around the mug.In taste : it was a little bit strange to taste a metallic appearance first. Then a sugar taste came and the characteristic taste of orange peel happened last. As it was an infusion and not a tea, there was no bitterness and no astringence. It could be a great drink with a spoon of honey and a cake (with nuts, for example). Well, it was a sweet infusion, but it didn't change my mind, I'm still not found of rooibos. I still know a lot of people that would appreciate it thanks to its sweetness.I will probably propose that rooibos to my guests who doesn't like tea.Enjoy your tea (or infusion).
